Weston Museum Re-opens 

The South West Heritage Trust is delighted to welcome the reopening of Weston Museum in Burlington Street, Weston-super-Mare. 

 

The Museum re-opens to the public on Saturday 26 August 2017. 

Important collections reinterpreted

The Trust has worked closely with Weston Town Council, North Somerset Council and specialist contractors to achieve the redisplay and reinterpretation of very important collections. They range from major archaeological finds to Gainsboroughs and seaside slot machines.

 

Tom Mayberry, Chief Executive of the South West Heritage Trust said: "It is a museum of wonderful range and now also an important new attraction for Weston, North Somerset and the wider world.

 

"Our warmest congratulations to Weston Town Council for so successfully leading the project with the generous support of the Heritage Lottery Fund and other funders."
